Once you’ve decided to get away together, it helps to agree on what you want from the trip. Perhaps it’s a chance to explore Windsor, linger over meals or catch up with friends you don’t see as often as you’d like.
You don’t need to organise every hour. A few shared decisions can give everyone something to look forward to while leaving room for a relaxed stay.
Start with the people and the dates
Ask who would like to come, suggest a couple of possible dates and agree a budget before choosing accommodation. It’s also worth asking about sleeping arrangements and any access needs early, so everyone can judge whether the property suits them.
At Consorts & Concubines, the accommodation extends across three floors above a shop on Thames Street. There are four bedrooms, with three doubles and one single. Consider the stairs and bedroom arrangement as part of your planning, and ask me if you need more detail before booking.
Make room in the plan for time together
A kitchen and shared dining space give you the option of breakfast together or an evening meal at the apartment. The living area offers somewhere to sit and carry on the conversation after a day out.
You can mix those simple moments with time exploring Windsor. With Windsor Castle directly opposite, the apartment places you in the heart of the town. If visiting inside the castle is part of your plans, check visitor arrangements separately before travelling.
Leave some time unplanned
Choose the things that matter most to your group, then leave a little breathing room. Everyone doesn’t have to follow the same itinerary throughout the stay.
The point is to enjoy being away together. Having a shared base means there’s somewhere to meet up again, exchange stories and decide what you feel like doing next.
If you have questions about how the apartment would work for your friends, I’m happy to help.
